What is CLUTCH?
CLUTCH Glue is a more effective and sustainable alternative to fashion tape. Our fashion glue that holds clothes in place and comes out in the wash.
How do I use CLUTCH?
STEP 1: Apply a swipe of CLUTCH to clean, dry skin and leave it to get tacky. Use a thinner application on delicates to prevent seepage.
STEP 2: Place clothes on the glue.
STEP 3: Minimise your movement until the glue is dry.
What ingredients are in CLUTCH?
VP/VA Copolymer, Isopropanol, Glycerin (Palm-Free), Silica Gel, Crosspolymer, Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid and Sorbic Acid.
How do I get CLUTCH out of my clothes?
CLUTCH comes out with water, so you can either wash your clothes normally, soak and hand wash them, or spot clean the glue out with a wet cloth before taking them to the dry cleaner.
Does CLUTCH hurt to remove?
You can either gently pull your clothes away from your skin, or use a wet cloth to saturate the glued area. This will loosen the glue and make for an even gentler removal that also won't take your fake tan with it.
Is CLUTCH suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, CLUTCH's formula is hypoallergenic, vegan, cruelty free and fragrance free.
How do I remove CLUTCH from dry clean only clothes?
We recommend spot cleaning the glue out of your garments before taking them to the dry cleaner. To do this, just take a clean, wet cloth and saturate the glued area by dabbing the cloth into the fabric.
No worries if you haven't spot cleaned the CLUTCH out! Just let your dry cleaner know it comes out with water.
Is CLUTCH only for skin to fabric application?
CLUTCH works well for fabric to fabric as well as skin to fabric. You might just find that the glue takes a little longer to dry when it's a fabric to fabric use.
Will CLUTCH ruin my clothes?
Not at all! CLUTCH is completely water-soluble and washes out of every fabric.
How can CLUTCH be both sweat-resistant AND water-soluble?
Sounds like a contradiction, right! CLUTCH has a really high saturation point, which means that if you sweat, spill a drink or get rained on, CLUTCH's strength won't be impacted until it reaches that point. Trust us, it takes a lot of sweat/water for the glue to come loose.
